Day 3 of Trial Run: 4 miles

Yesterday was my 3rd day of my trial runs and the plan was for 4 miles. It was technically the first "push" day even though every week from now on that distance will be run every Wednesday. The weather was pretty nice out but the roads were still icy so Ben and I decided to go to the RPAC to run on the track. Overall the 4 miles went pretty well. There were slight pains on the bottom of my feet when I was done which makes me think its time to buy new running shoes. Also I am still looking for a way to make running on the track less boring and tedious. Any suggestions?

13 weeks till the race!

  1. Go to a running store and have them watch you walk. They will fit you in great shoes!!
